Meet Melanie

After graduating from La Roche College with a degree in Interior Design,  I began my career as an interior designer in my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pa. After 5 years, I moved to Columbus Ohio and transitioned into a sales career as a manufacturers representative for a commercial flooring company. 

Over the next 15 years, I worked with designers, end users and dealers throughout Ohio.  It was here I realized my passion and loved assisting designers find product solutions for their projects, which led me to my dream of forming my own agency.

In 2017, I founded Indigo Spec Group. My agency represents stylish commercial flooring including carpet, LVT, cork, engineered wood, woven vinyl, entry systems and intricate custom logo mats. Additionally, I’ve recently launched a new line of textured wall panels and acoustical panels that are versatile and fabulous!  

I specialize in product consultation for designers, end users, property management companies and dealers throughout Ohio and Kentucky.  I am a resource as they make product selections, specifications and master budgets. I absolutely love the diversity of products I am able to provide as an independent agent and the relationships I'm able to build along the way.

I am inspired by all elements of design and my goal is to be your resource for products that spark inspiration.
